  • Fly Greenland - Northern Lights - Aurora Borealis - MSFS2020 - 4K

Experience the beauty of the Northern Lights as we fly the Daher TBM 930 from Nuuk (Capital of Greenland). This evening flight takes us North along the coast of West Greenland. This is a 25 minute flight covering 82nm from Nuuk (BGGH) to Maniitsoq (BGMQ) with in flight information on the Northern Lights. Note for the Flight Simulator pilots : At the time of publishing this video, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) does not incorporate the visuals of the Northern Lights. Real world Northern Lights were edited into the video to showcase Greenland.

Yes, I read (almost) everything which you write or show me here. That means you have just switched from, what was it.. x-plane 11.50 to

    msfs 2020?!

GABRIEL? I think here we have the first jetphotos msfs 2020 pilot on planet Earth.

And you really accepted Gabriel's idea, to not overload his rather old msfs 2020 topic ('msfs is back' or something like that). Another new topic for each and every region, not for each and every single airport which we reach, that would be too much.

Now, Greenland. From Nuuk to... BGMQ . Great, the idea alone, and I haven't yet watched your video.

I knew it. On Greenland, they also have at least one runway which is long enough for the Boeing 747. Kangerlussuaq is the name, ICAO code BGSF .

From now on, the msfs 2020 inspiration is where you are.

    Thank you very much!

Thanks for reading! Not exactly, I still use X-Plane, but the attention I get on my MSFS 2020 videos far exceeds that of the X-Plane videos. My first MSFS video is now over 100K views. Getting my X-Plane videos to even 5K is challenging! So time will tell if I continue with X-Plane. There are some great releases coming to X-Plane (mainly Falcon 8X by Aerobask) and for this reason, I am holding on to both sim platforms.

So. You use both x-plane 11.50 and msfs 2020? How keen you are. I don't know how young you are, but I am so young that I know a computer game which was called
'Commander Keen' . Published in Germany in December anno 1990 .

I plan to do the same as you do !! I really have spent too much € so that I could leave my fsx alone.

Thus, this is what I plan to do. I'll stay with fsx, which after all those years still works like a charm here on my machine.

Randazzo's LH-B744 fsx simulator. I can't imagine something better, not even with msfs 2020!!

And when I perceive that my machine is good enough for msfs 2020, then I'll buy it. Fsx and msfs 2020 parallel, running with one and the same cpu.

The only thing is, probably two different hdd's . Because I have read that for msfs 2020 you can easily run a second hdd, with 250 GB or rather 500 GB (!) .

Do you also run two hdd's for your two simulator platforms?

          X-Plane on a Mac and MSFS2020 on a PC.
          Cheers!
