  • Robert S Randazzo in the year 2021.

Well. It seems as if Flight Captain Randazzo no longer supports my flight simulator. Which is a strong statement, because two minutes ago, I have decided to still support him,
so this is a oneway support if you like. I support him, but I don't get anything back.

My favorite aircraft of all times hasn't changed. It still is visible in my avatar. Mr Andrew Hunt obviously was here on this platform this summer, who since more than 20 years publishes
very brilliant jetphotos of the a/c type Boeing 747-400:
The only time I managed to get onto the ramp and shoot at Kai Tak. D-ABVC. Boeing 747-430. JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

Flight Captain Randazzo has decided that he sells the 747-400 and, what bothers me most, also the 747-800 for
    Prepar3d customers only.

So, from tonight on, you will be able to see the difference between people who use Randazzo's LH-B744 simulator since more than 5 years and people who buy prepar3d because Captain Randazzo told them to do so.

Still fsx, here on my side.

PS: So, let's share the pictures. Your B748 prepar3d vs my LH-B744 fsx. And if you ask me, we can start at once. One moderator once told me to always open a new topic for each new destination, but... only a teaser.

LH-B744 fsx on her way to Rhein/Main Intl airport, inflight somewhere..

I think that I remember what country is below us. But can you perceive the country, only from that picture?

Now, Brian knows my current o/s + simulator configuration.

Never in my whole life have I used Windows 10. And there is ... let's say at least a dozen reasons for that. I would not have been able to publish the picture which I have published here
    in post #1 .
Because fsx simply does not work together with Windows 10, amongst many others... I asked Brian this question, is fsx compatible with Win10. Until this very moment,
he didn't say No, but he also didn't say yes.

Afaik, Randazzo's LH-B744 fsx simulator - QOTSI for the insiders - is not compatible with Windows 10.

    So, what is the future.

Windows 11. Which will be published by Microsoft on October 5th 2021 .

So, in how far is Randazzo's LH-B748 prepar3d simulator compatible with Windows 11?

PS: As of today, I seem to have to use one trick which I have used once in the past:
    1. First of all, buy Randazzo's simulator.
    2. Then buy the simulator platform which is needed, i.e. prepar3d in my case.
    3. And only then buy the o/s which is needed. Windows 11?

Ahm. I know that I am regularly, let's say once or twice a month, too fast for this server. But let me add one thing for all of us who wonder, where is
      my Beech B350
when I completely change from fsx to p3d.

This in my eyes is the sister company of Randazzo, who - with only 1 exception - sells jet aircraft with more than 100 seats.

Carenado. The counterpart for Randazzo if you're lookin for professional simulator solutions, who sells
all the propeller a/c which an advanced aviation enthusiast begins to love:
      Piper PA42 Cheyenne III
      Piper PA31T Cheyenne II
      Dornier DO228 (!)
      Beech B350,
      ...
And the best thing is, with the Carenado Beech B350, you are able to compare three things:
      1. the default fsx Beech B350
      2. the Carenado fsx Beech B350
      and
      3. the Carenado p3d Beech B350.

The fsx and the p3d version, Carenado gives it to you always in 1 package.

That's one of the final questions which had to be answered before I completely change to p3d, where is my Beech B350.
      Carenado is the answer.

Let me start with the default fsx Beech B350. Since 2008, more than once I wondered if that really is the best solution for a Beech B350 which is available worldwide.
The answer is, No, definitely not:

That's the default fsx Beech B350 on her way from Rhein/Main to the former Heeresflieger Standort ETHM Mendig (military only until 2008_), since 2008 EDRE.

So - Carenado, if you like to take your Beech B350 with you from fsx to p3d.

      And now back on topic.

Breaking news -- breaking news -- breaking news .

I just could not resist. What for do you need prepar3d. I thought that the Flight Captain himself would have had answered this question here in our forum. But after all those years, I still don't know if he owns a jetphotos forum account.

So what will I do. I'll answer the prepar3d question. I really was not able to resist. And this is the result.

This is.., quite obvious, a Boeing 747-400 GE in pmdg house colors, p3dv4 in directX11 mode (normal mode), on one of the best home airports on this planet (EDDL).

The Joseph F. Sutter label (1921-2016) is obvious. But even the second line is clearly readable in directX11, quite astonishing. Can you read the second line?

Now I know what prepar3d is good for. I only hope that Captain Randazzo will sell me also the 747-800, next winter (March 2022), on my birthday.

Because that's my aim, the pmdg 747-800.
