Can't Download from AVSIM

Hi everyone- I need some help.

I am not able to download from AVSIM. I get logged in OK, and am just fine until I hit the 'download' button next to the plane, and it goes to that seperate window with the add & all like it's starting to download, and then I get a 'page cannot be displayed.' WHY?! I've always had this problem, and it's prevented me from downloading w/ AVSIM AND POSKY.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

It's working fine for me, but Avsim has had this problem that has been happening for a few months now and it's starting to get on people's nerves (inlcuding mine and yours)

I don't know why it does it, but it's a problem with their site and not your internet connection or anything, if that's what your wondering

It's hit or miss whether it will start downloading whenever I visit the site.

I'm not sure why it's not working for you at the moment I've just tried again for you and it's just downloaded fine for me.

Sometimes you can download as many things as you want from that site 'cos the speed is fast, and others it's literally like watching paint dry! Then theres an error on the page. Just keep trying, I think you should be able to download one succesfully in the next few days or so

I've been trying for quite some time- here and there for over a year at least, and it's never worked.

I guess I'll keep on trying and hope it fires off sometime...

It worked fine for me this afternoon when I downloaded about 8 files.

I don't think it will be your firewall I think that would only stop pop-up adverts etc, not stop a download from starting.

Are you on broadband or dial-up? Dial-up can sometimes cause things to just fall apart when a big download is selected.

I'm not dial-up- I think broadband. Whatever it is it's bloody fast.

Try turninig off your firewall sometimes that helps.
