I'll post screenies later, we can get a list of fun airports started.

I think the code is LFLJ for this place in the mountains in France. It was harder for me than TFFJ to land at. I couldn't keep my speed in control coming down over the mountain and I always ended up floating into the treeline...
SABA isn't all that special unless you're trying to get something bigger than a baron out of there.

With the right AI settings, every airport can be insane in FS . But really, not have yet flown into an insane airport in FS except for Courchevel, and without a more realistic scenery, it's not that insane as it is in real life. Same goes for St. Barths.

Think SESM is crazy in FS9? Try FS2002! Crater is deeper and steeper!

heh, once I had an add-on mesh for northern ontario that put northbay in an airport-shaped crater

Yeah FS does that since the airport property must be completely flat, so if the airport is placed lower than the surrounding mesh, the whole property falls into a sinkhole...if the airport is placed higher than the mesh, it ends up on a plateau, like KBJC here with FSGenesis Rocky Mountain Mesh...
