Auto Pilot

As you all probably know i am new to flightsim and one thing that is really puzzing is the a/p i have never even seen a cockpit in real life, now i have sussed out how to use some things on it like getting from point to point but it goes direct to the airport i want but i cannot sus out how to get it to approach and line itself up with the runway i end up being like a stunt pilot trying to get it to line up is there a Autopilot for idiots out there anywhere lol

As far as I know you can't do it. I've gotten lucky sometimes but the approaches were awful. The plane wan't so bob and weave all over the place. Probably not good to do lol. Best bet is to learn it manually. It's so much more fun.

What you do is=
1. Find the frequency of the runway you are landing on. You can find it on the map function.
2. Input it into the radio stack.
3. Switch that part of the radio to active.
4. When you kinda line up, switch on the APP switch.
5. Switch it off about 1 nm out, and guide it in manually from there.
Works pretty well most of the time.

I just want to thank you Joe i read all that and have just completed my IFR flight with ILS approach and it went like clockwork thx to everyone
