  • Part V. Air Berlin Boeing 737-700: Faro - Palma de Mallorca

That's part V of my trip. the aircraft was supposed to be B737-400 but something happened to it and we got B737 Not bad
Btw. Palma de Mallorca is one of Air Berlin's hubs so don't ask what AB is soing here

    Aircraft: Boeing 737-700 (PMDG)
    Airline: Air Berlin
    Registration: D-AHIC
    Callsign: Air Berlin 3255
    Departure: Faro - Portugal
Destination: Palma de Mallorca - Mallorca - Spain

An optimal resolution for all users (sorry I'll post special set of big shots some other time)

I didn't get First Class tickets so I went all the way to the back to get a nice wing view for my pics. What a pity AB doesn't have PTVs...

Boarding. You can see the o/c Hapag Lloyd waiting for PAX

We are ready to be pushed back

That's the view from my seat

    Requesting taxi to the active

Where is this truck going ??? Can't he see us ??? Luckly he managed to escape the danger

The empty gate that you can see is the gate where I was boarding

A pic taken from a coach by a tourist

    Another Hapag-Lloyd

Accelerating, trying to center our aircraft

Leaving faro, and heading to the biggest island of Baleares - Mallorca

It's about 13 o'clock (1PM) so it's hard to catch the sunny part of an aircraft

    Cruising over the Meditereean Sea

Entering the bay, on approach to LEPA

In three hours I'll be swimming down there

Now, where is my hotel ???

Landed. It was a nice and smooth landing

Slowing down, passing one of the taxiways

Cleared the runway and now taxiing to the gate

Passing by a buncha trees and some building behind them

Taken by a spotter, standing on a ladder. Jet 2 Yorkshire parked - something for Dale

Nothing interesting - just a lot of Air Berlin jets...

Parked at the gate, next to the EasyJet "baby-boeing"

You can see: Air Berlin Boeing 737-700, EasyJet Boeing 737-500 (I guess), Air Berlin Boeing 737-800 and Crossair Embraer ERJ-145

    Good nite AB !

And that's the end of part V.

    Thanks for watching

You don't have to leave a comment

Coming up next: Palma de Mallorca - Ibiza (Iberia Regional (Air Nostrum) CRJ-200)

    Stay tuned

Nope I wanted to use the Dreamliner c/s version but I didn'twork...

For the next part i just checked the virtual weather and it's a heavy thunderstorm in the area so the flight might be "interesting". We'll depart early in the morning and land after about 15 minutes. LOL Heavy crosswinds too
