  • Need These Aircraft!

Can anyone point me in the direction of the following files please?

    Boeing 747-8F:
    Definitely needs:
    -Panel
    -Virtual Cockpit
    -Wing Views
    Preferably (but not essential):
    -Sounds
    -Effects

    Boeing 747-400ERF:
    Definitely needs:
    -Panel
    -Virtual Cockpit
    -Wing Views
    Preferably (but not essential):
    -Sounds
    -Effects

I need the above files for both FS2004 and FSX, so in other words, two separate files of the same aircraft.

    Thanks.

Ok, what about the Boeing 747-400F with the same specifications as listed in my first post?

Your being to picky for starters. If you want it with everything then go for the PMDG, if not download the POSKY 744F a new panel and some 747 sounds...

I don't mind downloading files separately and putting them all together myself (assuming it's not too difficult), but it needs to be Freeware, and I believe PMDG is Payware.

Also, what's the difference between Base Packages and Model Packages?

          EDIT:

Ok, I've done a lot of research into this and I now know I need to do the following:

          Download two separate files:
          -Boeing 747-400F Base Package
          -Boeing 747-400F Sounds

          Wing Views:
-I need to add a few lines to the Boeing 747-400F Base Package Aircraft.cfg file in order to get the wing views.

          Default MSFS 2004 Boeing 747-400:
-I need to copy and paste the panel and effects files from the default Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 Boeing 747-400 folder.

          Virtual Cockpit:
I'm forgetting about the virtual cockpit.

So if I do all of the above, I should have a zip file which includes all that I am looking for?

If you're going to be distributing this in you're VA you're not legally allowed to include stuff made by Microsoft that are included in FS

Right, so I need to add panel and effects files to the 'Items to be downloaded' list?

This is for a new cargo only VA, so if anyone wants to think up a catchy name and motto for me then they're welcome to.

What effects do you actually want to add?

Actually it looks like it's going to be called Angel Cargo - a reference to the Angel of the North.

I don't know what effects I want, I just know that often whenever I download an aircraft add-on for Flight Sim, there's an Effects folder or zip file included.

Effects folder usually includes such things as beacon lights, vortices, smoke etc. so you might just use the dafault ones.
