  • Aeromexico (CUN-SXM) 737-800

Hello again Since this past weekend I had lots of spare time, I decided to fly Cancun-St. Maarten on the brand new AM 737-800 workhorse. There is one small detail on this POSKY acft......the flaps on this model work as far as doing their actual job but they do not work in the sense that there is no flap deployment visible on these pics Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy these pictures

-EI-DRA peacefully sitting at gate 19 waiting for its passengers

-Passenger view of the nice winglet and terminal ops area

-Doors closed, crosscheck complete, pushback time!

-On our way to the active we get a nice view of CUN's control tower

-Please fasten your seatbelts....next for takeoff

-EI-DRA flying over the beautiful sea

    - Flying somewhere over the Caribbean....Ahhhh window views are the best!

-Starting our descent over the sea on a gorgeous afternoon

-Almost there! Flying over Maho beach..........look @ all those women :P

    -Window view of SXM's terminal

-After a busy day, EI-DRA sunbathing and resting in paradise

Does anybody know why this a/c has an Irish registration? Just curious.

Hmmm, well I am not quite sure but I have heard that some of AMX's new 737-700's and 800's carry that type of Reg. because they are leased from an Irish company, but I cannot confirm this bit of info.

        Happy Flying,

Nice looking shots! Is it just me, or do those ground service truck at CUN look way out of scale?

Thanks for the comments everyone Yes, they are out of scale but not only that, they also block most other gates :S so that leaves me about 3 or 4 gates I can park at, but I have not found any other good freeware CUN scenery so I guess im stuck

It could be because it is leased from GECAS, who have an office in Shannon, Ireland.

Something is wrong with your particular model, because I have never had a single problem with the POSKY 737 flaps in either normal operation or in screen shots.

Yes, they are part of the add-on scenery for SXM
