  • Bank Angle

On some of the FS2004 aircraft that I am importing into FSX, when I use the autopilot to make turns and get me on course, it will go to a 90 degree or more bank angle. I don't know if this is the model or the .cfg file or what. Please help.

They probably aren't compatible with FSX then.

Anything I can do to make it compatible?

On some autopilot panels you can set the maximum bank angle. I'm pretty sure most paywares have it as well as some better freewars. In LVLD's 767 the bank angle selection is under the heading knob. You can try that.

The default 737-800 panel in FSX has it too, but it is not able to adjust when on a different type of aircraft.

I see. One more thing you can try is modify your aircraft.cfg file. I'm pretty sure there's a setting for a max/min bank angle there.
