  • Does anyone know of a good RR Trent 895 or GE 90 soundset?

    Hi,

I have Devyn Silverstein's complete Boeing 777 soundset and the update package and while the PW 4090s sound very realistic with their classic burping spools and deep hum the RR and GE 90s engine sounds don't sound as realistic. The RR engines exterior sound make too much grinding and not enough buzzing and the GE 90s don't have that classic GE 90 roar. I have also tried the real deal packages of those two engines, but those didn't sound right either.

Does anyone know of a good sound package for the Boeing 777 that accurately produces the unique sounds of the RR Trent 895s and/or the GE 90?

    Thank you,

    Rohan

I haven't tried this particular ones in a while, but Christoffer Petersen makes very good sound sets that you might try.

        Hi,

Thank you for the info, personally I liked the real deal GE90 soundset from the "Real Deal" series and the sample spool-up of the GE90 sounds really realistic.

Just wondering what are your guys' sound settings are like for FS 2004, here's mine:

        Engines: 54
        Cockpit: 67
        Enviornment: 100
        ATC: 82

        Thanks for your help,

        Rohan
