  • Oscars night..

.. just some shots of this American Airlines 762 arriving at LAX, from BOS, with passengers and celebrities for the Oscars night in Hollywood. Enjoy ! Flight done with real world weather.. as always. Pardon the jaggies on the textures, for some reason 16x AA doesnt help..

At 14000 feet, about to enter thick clouds

Preparing for visual landing, runway 06L

    Approaching KLAX

Mix of clouds and smog over LA, as we are on final rwy 06L

    Slowing down, arrival from KBOS

Holding position for Southwest departing 06R

    Taxiing to the gate

    Arriving at the gate

    At the gate

I freakin love that scenery !!

If anyone wants departure/cruise shots I can post them here..

    Off to watch Oscars

    Thanks

        Thank you so much
Well I do get some jaggies on the red stripe in the first three shots
119 knots I know I was surprised. 7% fuel and head wind.
        Yeap, POSKY's 762

Didn't watch, and reading up about who won what, I am glad I didn't waste a night worth of sleep on it .

Nah, just a cutout of a larger pic I found on the net of that dog sitting on a street in the pouring rain, somewhat sad and cute at the same time. Plus, he's keeping an eye on what I type .

I think I did, next to UAL 772, Mexicana MD80 and Mexicana 737
Do you know where I can find a LAX chart with airline gates ? It will be so much easier, as so far I only know where Southwest has it's terminal

Btw. I just realised how poor my USA AI is so right now I am installing/programming some more, so with the next set, the airports should be busyyyyy
