    Flight into KART for herpa2003 (warning, big pics!)

    I decided a 747 was a bit small, so why not use a plane that will be a challenge!

    Us next...


    Perfect length of runway!


    Up through the clouds


    And climbing to cruise.


    Down through the clouds again, and slowing down!


    Lining up for final.


    And here we come! The dots are rain, i couldn't get them to go away


    A brief go-around later, and we hit the dirt!


    Stopping....


    And here we are!


    Any more challenges?
    I walked across an empty land
    I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
    I felt the earth beneath my feet
    Sat by the river and it made me complete

    Hmm actually I do have one for you Kat.

    Try to land that AN 124 (or even a 747 for that matter) at my local airport: Clarion County Airport, PA (KAXQ).

    There's a challenge for you!

      Wow...I thought a 747 would be a challenge, but you proved me wrong! The NZIA must have some top-notch pilots...

      Anyways, nice pics...(now if I can only get this to happen in real-life) :P
