Reverse Thrust

How do I get my reverse thrust to work? When I try to use it in FS 04, it just goes on a little bit and off and on a little bit and off again. What is wrong?

Calibrate you throttle on your joystick. I had a throttle that at idle was giving 6% power and had the same problem.
