      And I've always been under the impression that smoking is definatly illegal on planes, at least in the US.

                  I saw somewhere it was 1987. BTW Stevo is a douchebag. Those guys were funny maybe six years ago now that stuff is retarded and nobody cares anymore. Somebody should throw him into an engine.

                          The no smoking ban on acft was not introduced by Air Canada, however they started a trial on LGA to Canada flights in April 1987. AC was the first airline to ban smoking on all flights shortly after.

                          If you smoke on an Air Canada flight you are turned over to the police on arrival. The Courts decide the fine. I believe it is up to $5000 plus a ban on flying Air Canada again.
