      the ULTIMATE model airport

What size and scale is that? 1/500 I suppose? Looks awesome. I would love to have that, even though I would have to tear my own airport down to have a place for it .

i would assume 1/400 or 1/500 scale. there was no info about the model itself, just the terminal construction project. its scary to think about how much one of these models must cost.

WOW! In 1995 my older brother and grandpa built a schabak 1:600 SFO model airport that took 3 years to build. It looked great, and it was HUGE! it even had taxiway lights and moving custom jetways. But when they no longer had room for it, and my brother lost intrest in aviation, they tore it down . He gave me all the models but it was still a great loss.

How does an airline thats going bankrupt sign new regional carriers, launch a discount airline, purchase new planes, AND repaint their fleet? I dunno, ask United.
