  • StarJets 1:500- good quality?

i've seen some seriously low prices on starjets 1:500. pictures are fairly small, but they look pretty accurate. does anyone own some that could let me know if they're happy with their purchase?
    thanks!

I have not bought any, but I have seen them, the 1:500 models are good, but the body design and landing gear are usually off a little. While they are cheaper, I would still pay more to get 1:400 that are worth a little more and have better details.

Here is a good example of what some 1:500 models turn into:

        wow!
look at the size of the landing gear! the main gear is larger than the engine. i think herpa 1:500 scale is crap...this 757 must be herpa. i guess the smaller you build, the harder it is to replicate.

That 757 is indeed a Herpa model - but it's the discontinued old "generation", here's an A319 "NG" from Herpa:

I like my StarJets, I have about 7 of them. They offer fine detail, but be better crafted. Compare a StarJets A319, compare it to a Herpa A320:

            thanks for the info.
i found some fairly detailed pics of starjets 1:500 and they look good enough to spend $9-15 per plane. it's only money, right?

Yeah but I would still spend 5-10 more bucks for 1:400

I have both Gemini and Dragon, I have a more dragon the gemini, but thats because Dragon made more of the ones that I wanted. But yes I would go with either Dragon and Gemini.
