  • Skymarks - How are they?

I'd like to buy these. But does anyone know how Skymarks is with quality and accuracy?

Also, does anyone know of a NC AC A345 model that is at least 1/200 - 1/250 large in scale without gears?

I haven't seen any of the older models, but I've been told they really improved with their quality.

1:400 is still more detailed :P

I have two skymark models: a Virgin Atlantic A340-600 w/gear and an Air Canada A330-300 new colours. I find them to be great models. Very good quality and detail. Definately worth getting some skymark models.

Skymarks are pretty good, I have a United 777-200 in new colors and it looks great! I have to say I like Hogan better though, but no problems with Skymarks.

My only complaint with Skymarks models is with the engines and the nacelles. The fit and the color of them makes them look a little cheap. I've got two Skymarks models, an AA 757-200 and a UA 747-400 (1990s livery). I actually bought both of mine locally at Hobby Lobby, which was a bit of a surprise considering they really don't stock many aircraft models. I almost bought a few more when I was in Las Vegas last year. I might get a few more of them to put on top of my desk. Definitely the 787, and one or two of the following: Hooters Air 732 (I think you can get those at your local Hooters), BA Concorde, AirTran 717 (NC), and ATI DC-8.

I have many Skymarks and I love everyone of them. I want to try some Hogan though.

                            my collection of Skymark is:
                            NW A332
                            NW DC-10
                            Boeing 773ER (world livery)
                            CO 772
                            VA A380
                            Ted A320
                            USAF "Air Force One"-742
                            USAF "Air Force Two"- 752
                            QZ CRJ-700
                            AS MD-80

                            I recomend them!

Pop quiz: Which US president said, "Saddam Hussein has spent the better part of this decade, and much of his nation's wealth, not on providing for the Iraqi people, but on developing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them."
George W. Bush is not correct. It was Bill Clinton in his 1998 State of the Union speech. HMMMMMMMMM.
