You ought to see one in person! Not only is it long, the engines are huge! I finally got to see SAA's A340-600 recently (had seen it take off and land, but not really been right by it).

i've seen them in person when an IB346 did a kai tak-like approach into RWY31L/R .....its a huuuuugeee aircraft, and once it passed over my house...its soo quiet while landing...its an awesome machine.

It's true the hump of the 747 looks like a 200. Since windows depicts those of the 400, this adds interest to the model !
