  • P2F and PCF

I was uploading photos and saw 2 options, one for P2F and one for PCF

Is this for a reason, or just redundancy ?

The A321 PCF are the ones converted by Precision Aircraft Solutions.
    https://www.precisionaircraft.com/a3...pcf-freighter/

The A321 P2F are the ones converted by ST Engineering, EFW and Airbus as a joint venture.
    https://aircraft.airbus.com/en/aircr...ghters/a321p2f

Planespotters.net says that N410GX was converted in San Antonio - TX while owned by "ST Aerospace Resources"

So, judging by all these info, i'd bet my money on the P2F option in database
Maybe the PCF option can be deleted by the site admins.

Yep, I have passed this along to the db folks to take care of.

        Thanks!

Just to add a few words on what others have mentioned, I find the "A380 Board" website a good place to track the conversion of A320/321 aircraft. They record down the aircraft registration, operator, the place where conversion was completed, and also whether it is P2F or PCF.

            Very complete source indeed.

An easy giveaway is the L1 door, if that side is visible. PCF frames retain the original large door, whereas P2F ones have a small door like that of 757 factory freighters (and oddly enough, 757 PCFs).
