I have a Harrier GR7A & a Harrier GR9 pic currently in the queue. Using the Autofill function for the registration, the operator came back as UK - Royal Air Force. Both Harriers are currently being operated by the NSW or Naval Strike Wing of the Fleet Air Arm, which is verified by www.scramble.nl
I have uploaded them as UK - Royal Navy, as this is imo the correct current operator, along with a note to the screeners.
Under the Joint Force Harrier, the assets regularly swap between being an RAF machine operated by 1 or 4 squadron or an FAA machine operated by the Naval Strike Wing. All of the RAF & RN squadrons involved are based at RAF Cottesmore.
Would appreciate some feedback as to what is correct under these circumstances.
