  • Help finding Reg

    Hello friends,

I just spotted an Israeli Air Force Gulfstream AWACS aicraft.

The only problem is that this Gulfstream is all white and has no reg painted on. I tried searching on the database but no photo exists of this aircraft. Can someone kindly tell me the reg of this aircraft so I can find its C/N and upload my two shots?

    Thanks
    Ruben

          Ruben,

          I have a feeling that your aircraft is reg. 684, c/n 684.

As far as I can ascertain this is the only G550 operated by the IAF with the underbelly pod. All the others seem to have the flat side type of scanning array. Not 100% certain but it may give something to go on.

She is a Gulfstream Aerospace G 550 Nachson Shavit.
            Known serials are
            684
            679
            676
But they all have a blue line on the fuselage. I think this one is a new delivery. Maybe the serial will pop up in time.
            So I don't think it's 684, she isn't white.

So for now I will upload it as Unknown and when I get the info I will fix the info?

Based on ErwinS's answer it would seem reasonable to upload with the reg and c/n as "unknown" at this time. I've spent the best part of a day trying, surfing the web, and cannot find any more information.

Either it's a new aircraft or someone's been out with a paintpot !

Either way, a note to screeners on why there is no reg or c/n should cover it.

Any other crew member comments ?
