  • The BIRDS!!!

Judging from my growing collection for aircraft photos from the last 4 months, it must be really common for spotters to get birds included in their photos-usually unintentionally. Either that or I've got bad luck...
Here is your chance to share those bird-infested shots that just won't cut it as submissions to the site.
Here are a few from my adventures...the UA Airbus shots are probably the worst I've gotten "birded" so far. The NW Airbus shots aren't so bad, but the feathered beasts are there. I know, I could simply edit them out of the shots, but then that takes all the fun out of it...
One of my recent posts actually looked good with a seagull escorting a B737 in... [photoid=259205]

    Anyways, share those bird shots!!!

          That's a pretty good-sized pelican there, Marcus.
Glad it didn't get to see the engine from the inside.

                  [img][/img]

This was taken at the Atlantic City airshow last year. An F-16 actually had a bird strike during the show and had to make an emergency landing.

Holy Flock! I can only imagine what the pilot was thinking as he flew among all those birds.
Clovis, it must have been a bit of work to manage to arrange that particular plane at that particular time.
                      How fitting.
