Looking for new equipment

Hello fellow spotters and photographers. I currently have a Nikon D3500 with a NIKKOR AF-P 70-300 f/ 4.5-6.3 with Vibrance Reduction and I would like to upgrade my equipment by getting a new lense. I am looking to reach the 400mm so something like 100-400mm would fit me perfectly. My need is that it is sharp at longer focal lenght (Whithout the need to close the aperture to reach it) and louminous. My price range is around 800 euros (Eventually buying second-hand but in as-new conditions). I saw about the Tamron and the Sigma 100-400 but can't find a good review (Especially in regards of planespotting) and am open to alternatives if there are. Thanks, Tommaso

Sigma 100-400. Very good lens. I have one and I like it very much. Also good price.

Nikon 200-500 - beats most 400mm zooms at 400mm.
