  • Tips for Night Spotting

    Hi there everyone.

I'm thinking of trying some night spotting but, to be honest, I'm not sure what kind of settings use in my camera.
Could you guys give me some tips?

    Thank you

By the way my gear is:
    - Canon 77d
    - Canon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6
    - Tamron 70-200 f/2.8
    - Sigma 150-600 f/5-6.3

    For longe exposures:
-Use high aperture values (f/11, f/16)
-Don't forget to close stabilizer for sharp photos.
    -iso 100
    -Always shoot in raw
-I recommend to use a remote control, if you don't have just set your camera to 10 seconds delay.

    For night panning shots:
-Set your lens for panning stabilizer (stabilizer mod 2), if you don't have this mode be sure to stabilizer mode is on.
    - Set the high continuous shooting.
    - Necessary to use at least 90mb/s sd card.
    - While taking this panning shots take a lot of shots for get the sharp one.
    - Use the lowest aperture values for your lens (f/2.8, f/5.6)
    - 1/8 is my favourite shutter speed for night panning

These are the ones I can recommend!
