  • Rejected Photo

A few days ago, I uploaded my first photo to Jet Photos. My photo was rejected instantly for a lot of reasons.

    The reasons:
    • Over Processed / Bad postprocessing
    • Bad Composition (bad framing / aircraft not centered)
    • Dark / Underexposed
    • Undersharpened (Soft)
    • Subject too far / too much dead space
    • Too much or too little contrast
    • Cropping / Photo edges / Size Ratio
    • Dirty Scan / CMOS Dust spots
    • Bad quality
    • Vignetting not allowed
I want to know how I can improve, so I don't get rejected next time.
    Thanks for your help!

Hello. I think I should start by reading the guidelines for uploading photos to jetphotos.
Obviously, to take correct photos, it is necessary to have at least a basic knowledge of photography in general and of post-production with special software.
Furthermore, to arrive at an acceptable result there is not just one way but many and often each one has his own technique.
For example, if you shoot in RAW or directly in jpg the techniques differ a lot.
In short, start by comparing your work with others (in the case of the photo you posted look at the others already in the database - this should help).
Also I recommend that you ask in the Digital Photo Processing Forum for help in growing this fantastic hobby
    Excuse my bad english.

It is also backlit. What image processing software are you using ?

My best suggestion is to read the guidelines. Sadly this photo is backlit, not fixable. The aircraft is low in the frame.

Id advise to read the guidelines. This image, and I assume similar images taken at the time of this one will be very unlikely to impossible to get accepted. better luck next time.
