Hi everyone, JetPhotos reqiures the long edge of a photo must be at least 1024 pixels, and maximum at 1280 pixels. However, when I was surfing through the photos that other photographer has uploaded, I found that some of the photos are displayed with larger size in the note. For example, a photo with a note of "[1600px]" or "[1920px]". I am really confused, how can this happen?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

When you get at least 10 photos accepted (if I remember it correctly) with your acception ratio being high enough (normally 80% or more is OK), you could post a request for 1920px on your uploading page. The second guide notes of 'General Submission Guideline' on the left will have a link for you to request for permission to upload bigger photos.

Appreciate for your reply. My ratio is not that high, so I understand how it works now.

Exactly, you need to send a request for it. The request can be sent from the Photo upload page (or My Profile, not sure), but you don't need 80%, I got my request accepted with just around 60% ratio, however, you do need to have a few dozens of photos accepted.

The sending way should be the former, which I'm quite sure.
As for the required ratio, the first time when it was 58% I was rejected, and when it was 82% I was accepted. So I guess it may be a number between these two. Maybe we could wait for a crew member to get a more official answer

70% minimum, better to aim at 80%
Also about 50pics accepted is a minimum,

            Regards
            Alex
