Well. I only appear very seldomly directly after my younger friend from Switzerland.

Btw, a quite late Happy Birthday to you, Alex!

Back on topic. We don't talk about this photo, or do we. Uploaded July 25th 2022, and already equipped with the first registration badge.

So, I must say, I weren't here since... clearly more than 13 years, if not the screening section here were not really quite fast.

Uploaded yesterday, and it already has its badge:

This Cessna 310 had a right main gear failure causing the right wing to drop to the ground striking an airport sign. The aircraft skidded off the runway and the pilot thankfully walked away without any major injuries.. N731AJ. Cessna 310R. JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

A Cessna 310 twin piston propeller, with 2 x 240 hp . My question would be, this a/c type was produced between 1954 and 1980. Among humans, if that were an excuse so to speak, she's so very old, it is ok that her right leg is broken permanently,
then this excuse is also valid for Alex and for me. The both of us, we are older than 1980, I must say.

So, what went wrong with this not too old Cessna 310?

PS: I don't know if my younger friend from Switzerland from time to time listens to German radio stations. But I do. And there is (at least) one song about us:
"You're from the 70ies, but I'm a 90ies bitch" . Icona Pop, published 2012. In Sweden. But only the male side in this song is true.
I am from the 70ies. But Icona Pop does not consist of my daughters. Born 1986 and 1987, so between Aino and me there are .. less than 9 years.

And which music was played on the radio when I was a baby boy, between 1978 and 1980? Well, this is an aviation forum. But you never forget these songs.
Blonker - Sidewalk Cafe (1980). The founder of this music group is year December 1946, and still alive 70 years later, as far as I know.

    And now back on topic.

Alex, I know that I am offtopic very often. But isn't it true. The older the men are, the more stories they can tell. More than 44 years for the both of us. Where to go with these stories. And where to go with the stories of our fathers?

Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt is not the generation of my father, he is ten years too young. But I like his stories, as a TV host. And today it is not his birthday, I am a few days too late,
      Alex, you know my problem..

60 years old since last sunday. Happy Birthday to H.M.-B. , from here, from Lohausen International.

      And now back on topic.
