The screening crew has been making amazing strides in the last week or so .. the queue has gone down from the reported 17 days to my latest submissions being screened in just over 11 days - some days in excess of 2,700 images screened per day!
Thank you all for putting in what must be great amounts of extra time!
Agreed! Wasn't sure if there were new screeners added (I thought I had seen some were being trained), more discerning uploads, or more diligent screeners, but the decrease in queue time has been notable and appreciated.
It really is amazing, some time ago I've uploaded a few shots being positioned at 27k and few days later another batch was only around 20k. Really amazing piece of work that was done here. Hopefully the less bussy winter interval comes soon, so you can have a bit of rest.
Same! I have to wait 16 to 17 days to have a photo screened. Now I only need to wait for about 10 to 11 days. Are there new screeners added? So pleased to see the screening go so fast!
I have to agree on that! Thanks to the crew for improving the team the same way we have to improve to have our photos accepted! Congrats to all and godspeed!

In any case, really thanks to the screeners for dedicating your time to this passion
I was seriously considering cutting way back on my uploading because I have a massive backlog that will take forever at 3 weeks for one photo and other sites do it faster. I've been uploading pictures from June and its November. I hope you guys can make more progress in cutting down the wait time.

One screener is now on training, a 2nd one will start his training next week.
