Canon body focus points.

HI all, hope you have had a good Christmas, just a quick question out of curiosity. I am using a Canon 7D MK2 and 100-400L MK2 using AI SERVO but seem to be missing focus on a lot of shots, just wondering which focus points everyone is using.

Use ONE SHOT instead of AI SERVO. As well as use center focus point. That's what I use

Definitely use AI Servo. Focus points should be centered however I guess your issue doesnt sound like any issue with focus points at all

I use center point only and ONE SHOT. Never had any luck with AI servo.

I always use AF SERVO + center point, unless the aircrat is completely stationary. Never had an issue with focusing using that method, both on C7D and C6Dmk2 and various lenses.

It is definitely not a problem of the method of focus or even of the points.
Have you tried another lens?
