    Hi All

I recently tried to take a silhouette picture at sunrise:

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!

Which i got rejected for Over Processed / Bad postprocessing and Undersharpened (Soft).
The histogram is fully across the graph but with peaks at the dark and light ends. I would expect this as the aircraft is the dark component and the rising sun is the light comp. I shot at a high shutter speed as sharpening a dark edge results in halos.
Why the bad processing and what recommendations for sharpening / exposure to reduce the risk of halos.

    TIA
    Andrew

Sharpening and exposure neither helps or reduces Halos, they’re caused by certain edits such as highlights, clarity, shadows and so on.

also I can’t open the photo, you’re gone to have to attach it on the this thread.
