Chris, if you have any questions about Saba feel free to ask.

Spotting can be done from behind the fense or from the waiting area.
              Security? LOL nope
Check Winair's site for their schedule, they are the only airline that uses the airport so spotting is not very diverse, one airline, one aircraft type (Twin Otter) and 2 different aircraft (PJ-WIH & PJ-WIL).
Why go? Great approach and take off!

Also I recommened the Just Planes Video of the Winair Twin Otter, its great!

                Nice!
We flew PJ-WIL into St Barts last August, was a whole heap of fun. The Winair pilots are so dam easy going, they were chatting to us all the way back and asked if we minded making a non scheduled stop in Anguila, of course we didnt! Then they asked us if we wanted an exiting APR into SXM, hell yeah we did, so they comenced there 1 mile turn in for the APR diving in, love those twotters madness. Well we will see how much flights to Saba are, although im more inclined just to spend a day in St Barts. Love that place. Food is great, beaches are perfect, you can stand at the end of the active, the girls are hot, and its a great APR! Cant wait to get back

LAst time we just walked up to the counter and brought a rtn to St Barts for $60 i think it was. Do you recomend this as the cheapest way of doing winair flights?
                    Thanks

Sure, but now the ticket office is next to the airport not in it, I did it through email though.
