  • Lens issues (sigma150-600C)

    I am using a Canon 6Dmark II with a Sigma150-600mm F5-6.3 DG OS HSM and I am experiencing a white ring halo on my image, can you tell me why this happens and how to prevent it? thank(equalized versions pictured below.)

    Looks more an editing issue then lens issue. Although the 150-600 suffers from vignette

      I had similar issue with Tamron 150-600g and C6D mk2. Anything above around 450-500mm looked like on the photo you've posted and even lense correction in PS/LR didn't help much.

      To prevent it you can try to set the aperture to about F/10-11, and if it won't you'll most likely have to avoid the "long end" of the focal lenght.

        150-600 is an abominable zoom range. I would never spend money on this if I have to take aeronautical photos
