What if it's a new model in museum? Such as https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10868084. Its in museum but belongs to 'New aircraft type / subtype for an airline or air force.'

They won't appear on fr24 either even if the hex is linked to a reg and there's a pic of a lighter than air aircraft in the database.
Given that a new reg does trigger the uploader to fill in the data (hopefully correctly ), it's not many more clicks to manually mark the correct hot category if in doubt.

Which means that cabin or cockpit shots will NEVER be accepted as hot, right?
That said, it is disappointing to see people successfully uploading aircraft photos with a wrong A/C type and a fantasy CN.

In order to further reduce the pressure on the screening queue, our hot photo guidelines have been reviewed and updated with immediate effect. Please refer to our upload guidelines, point 2.5. https://www.jetphotos.com/uploadguidelines/#2.5
In short, the changes will mostly affect general aviation, military and inactive aircraft.
What will no longer be hot?
- Changes to a livery for general aviation and military aircraft
- New registrations for inactive aircraft (such as aircraft in museum, stored aircraft and wrecks/relics). In this case, make sure the Vintage category is selected
We hope these changes will help us keep the general queue under control. At the same time we are making sure our database remains up to date and relevant to Flightradar24's site and apps.
We're happy to take away any doubts and will answer your questions in this forum topic.

I do not find this solution optimal, given that, as stated by the crew, rejecting a photo to be deleted takes less than 5 seconds.
I repeat that an optimal solution to reduce waiting times would be to enable a significant number of uploaders with a medium-high acceptance rate, to delete all those photos that are clearly unacceptable (and if it were up to me, all those taken with a smartphone).

It's a delicate situation. I don't mind the queue longer as there will be enough time for a good edit without rejection.

It's already difficult enough to get photos accepted in the very tight acceptance JP frame.
I assume that the rate of appeals would dramaticaly increase, knowing that someone who is no screener rejected a photo.
