  • Lens for Farnborough 2004

I have never taken photos at farnborough airshow before even though I went for the first time 2 years ago - I am only 17 after all!
I would like to know what length of lens sounds good.
I will be getting a 300d with the kit lens and also something along the lines of a 75-200 or 75-300 lens.
Will I need to constantly change the lenses to get a shorter focal length or not?
    Thanks alot,
Will anyone else be there? I am going on the sunday.

I would also like to ask, how long do the batteries last when the lcd is not used?
I am planning on taking 2 packs for the whole day event.

2 batterys shouldnt be a problem if you dont keep checking the LCD. When i went i was shooting with a 70-200 but idealy if i was going this year i would be taking my 28-80 L and my 100-400 L. This covers all the distance that you'll need. I hope your fast with the shutter and can pan like f*ck. :P

I agree on 2 batteries for the 300D. I have been using 2 batteries in the 300D grip, with IS on, and also LCD reviewing, and notched up about 400 shots easily the other day without a hint of the batteries running out.
