    Cheers for the replies!

    I focused on the runway, underneath where the aircraft rotated. Where should I focus??

    Would it be best on the plane as its coming down the runway, even though its not gonna be where it will when the photo is taken? Or, as I did, on the runway where the aircraft is gonna be when I take the shot... Or somewhere else??

      Focus on the plane, then pan (move) in the direction the plane is trvelling. Keep on focusing on the plane (as it moves out of the distance you focus on), then when ready to take the photo, focus on last time (shouldnt take long as it should already be 70%focused), then take the photo.
