Hi all,
I'd like to be able to take long exposure images (eg 10+ second exposures) with my Canon R6ii and 100-400mm lens.
The tripod I use currently (Miller Air Solo 75) is exceptional for panning and I use it separately for videography, however it doesn't seem to deal well with the weight if I try and shoot a still target. It seems to drift one way or the other and I don't get a sharp image even with the lens mounted and balaned perfectly.
The issue potentially is the head as the tripod is rather heavy duty and should realistically deal with the weight, but I'm equally interested in something lighter as this tripod would not be practical to take during travel.
So with that in mind, I'd like to hear what tripods the community uses and if there are any recommendations for long exposures with a heavier lens like the Canon 100-400.
Many thanks,
Chris
