  • Questioning a shot.

    Hello,

A while ago i took this shot.

I think the shadow ruins it but im not completely convinced.

Personally I like the angle, and would accept it....if you can soften the harshness of the shadow at the front. I don't know if it can be done because the rest of the aircraft is very bright.

You could always clone tool out the shadows on the plane very easily. Personally I really like that angle and the shadows of the spectators on the observation roof add a strong and interesting element to the photo.

So I guess you don't like half the shots on the database?

I like the shadow. It shows spotters!

Ditto...a matter of personal taste I guess. The quality of the picture is good enough for JP...I would accept it if I were a screener.

Upload it, it pretty interesting and angle is nice. You should also upload another showing the whole aircraft.

Actually that is against the rules. You cant just clone a shadow out of the picture. Its not that amazing and i HATE shots which have been edited.

You can clone the odd lamp post out of the sky to stop it destracting from the picture but not when it covers the aircraft. Just drop the picture. Not as though that a/c type is rare in New Zealand. If that was a picture of Pepsi Concorde then I could understand a little love loss but not a ANZ dash. Thats just silly.
refer bold - I certainly hope you aren't referring to Dash-8. If that is an ANZ Dash-8 then that is very rare! It's an ATR-72-212A
