  • First results from my Rebel

Hey guys, I got the camera today, and couldn't wait to try it out.
However, there was a huge cloud in front of the sun that wouldn't budge, which is why the photos turned out the way they did. I'm not sure if I'm going to upload any, but I wanted to share my first 300D photos with you guys anyways.

    Hope you liked them.
    Will F.

I like the CRJ Shot and the 1st Canjet shot, tho it could be shaprend a bit more in certain area's. What lens did you use for that shot? (because of the purple friging on the landinglight)

Like Spotter, the CRJ and the Canjet landing are nice, the others are pretty dark.

Good firsts though...how do you like playing with those clean 6MP images in Photoshop?

                        Thanks everyone.
Now I'll just wait for some good weather.

@ Clovis: Yeah, PSP seems so much more powerful.

                        @ Spotter: That's the 75-300 III USM

Are you saying I'm a horrible photographer?

The thing I always ask myself is... "Okay I can make these look acceptable, in terms of database standards...but what the hell is the point? Another guy with a 300D will be out here when its sunny and take photos 20x better than these."

Usually after that those pics get lost in a folder and are never seen again...

                              Yep, make sure you get a Canon EOS 1Ds or a 1D Mk II. Throw in a 100-400L or a 70-200 f2.8L...and don't forget a few primes like the 300 f2.8L

Nice pics crazy764...damn clouds Don't you just love the silky smooth image.
