                I have the 17-40 f4L and love the thing. Its a fantastic multi use lense with very little distortion.

                      Thanks.

                      Not all wide angle lenses are equal. Look around and if you can, rent one or two (of course I didn't do this). Fisheye distortion isn't really noticable with this lens and even with the crop factor gives great results (probably why I don't see must of the bad effects at the edges).

                      Hope to see more of your work in that other forum.
