  • Lets see your 300D do this...

Everyone brushes me off when I say "4 frame buffer"...

(btw...I know you can see his underpants :/ )

As we all know 4 frame buffer is necessary for everything.

Landscapes for instances. Boy, that ground is coming towards me quickly! Gee-whiz, look at the earth's rotation.

Or skateboarding. I always wondered what skateboard boys boxers looked like.

Face it Clovis, the 300D can do most everything a D30 can do. The photographer has final impact on the shot.

I concede, but I don't need more of a buffer.

        BTW, related to him?

Friend when I used to go to school here.

You might not need that buffer, and you might need the extra 3 MP...but I like having the 9 frame buffer

Thing I wish the D30 had most? A full frame CMOS...

          Now 1Ds mkII...8fps...24 frames...quasi full frame sensor...8mp...

          *drool*

          Someday I will own one!!

Very useful for sports. I am going to try it out the next time I go to a hockey or baseball game.

Yep.... i really wish i had those extra 5 frames instead of the 6mp so that i could get the shots of the guy's underpants for those lonely nights

Trying to tell us something Clovis?

Though I don't use a auto SLR or DLSR (I only use a manual, cock the film, Pentax and Nikkormat), I can see what you mean Clovis. Always amazes me when I'm with other photographers using high buffer cameras. I'd choose the D30 over the 300D any day . Great shots Clovis.

There are lots of threads on here that are to do with general photography and not aviation photography.

4 frame buffer? That's child's play compared to the fabulous D70 of up to 144 pics!
