Post again as it was deleted.

I never said all pics should be accepted, however as there is a wing in the shot I dont see what the problem is.

As for telling me to use myaviation..... Now you sound like Johan

The rejected picture looks very nice to me. I am a big fan of "air to ground shots". However, the screener was correct in rejecting it due to lack of aircraft part in the picture. The presence of wing or engine part in the picture would help a lot to have that picture accepted.

I am not a screener but I have learned this because I have had 3 rejected pictures for the same reason. This happened when I was still new to this hobby (about 5 month ago). Now I have 340 pictures in the database.

On the other hand, is there any alternative term for "BAD MOTIVE? I find the term really offending. Just asking... would like to hear the opinion of others.

So, every pic with an aircraft should be added to the db, or what?

There is a site for this: myaviation.net, A.net's sister site.

Colin Parker had a pic of Cathay City at CLK (with two CX aircraft in the shot) rejected for Bad motive.

I had a ramp shot of Kai Tak rejected for Bad motive.......

As for Pacific shot, well that is part of a Plane and if he's not in a plane I would like to know what

Its just the luck of the draw

I was the screener, who rejected that pic. Personally, I would have loved to take this picture myself, but more for me personally, then for an upload to any online database.

The reason, why I rejected this pic was, that it did only show a little bit of something, which might be aviation related. Not enough to make it to the db, though.

You added another wing view, as far as I remember, which should compensate for this little loss, don't you think?

Off to the next batch of pics!

    Cheers

Sorry for the outburst, I've been in a down recently and hobbies (planespotting) have been one of my ways to get out and I've been rather edgy.

There is very little or nothing of the plane visible in the shot. And No, it's not a slap in the face, it's not a personal attack on you.

I'm no expert like the screeners, but to have a picture accepted, it has to deal with aviation. Now yea your picture is aviation related, since it is taken from an airplane but it does not so any part of the airplane. You might say oh but there is that piece sticking out in the upper right hand corner, but I have to say that you need more of the aircraft in the picture, like the wing or the engine.

I think it's a 'Bad Motive' because it doesn't show anything aviation related.

I assume the photo was taken from a plane. But that's an assumption, thus, it's not really a "jetphoto".

    Bad Motive

Can't see the Bad Motive to this so I see this as a personal slap and insult on my face.

JetPhotos.com is the biggest database of aviation photographs with over 5 million screened photos online!
