People have been bored of it since about the end of last year. Theres just no way that you can catch something unusual at MAN anymore, 'cos atleast five other photogs will get itMeaning every shot is almost the same (bad double)
In other words, people are bored out of their heads about it

Just my opinion, but I feel lucky to live close enough to Manchester because of the diversity of aircraft you can go and see. How many 'local' airports are there where you can see, and photograph from close range everything from general aviation up to Concorde? I agree about there always being people photographing around the airport but they are just enjoying the excellent facilities like everyone else. It is difficult to get a 'one off' photo like you say (I've managed it once!), but thats probably the same as 90% of all airports. Most photographers aren't standing shoulder to shoulder so its good to see the same aircraft from different angles and compare it with your own. I love Manchester airport and will continue snapping away for a good few years yet!

I'll tell you now MAN is arguably the most spotter/photographer friendly airport in the world.

Which is exactly why it's been/being shot to death!I still go nearly every week, I love going infact
, but I've started to be more "pickie" on which pics I upload, because theres nothing unique about it anymore. Theres no "unusual shots" that are being uploaded.

good to see somebody saying that.... take all those MAN shots, multiple them by 6 (MAN, AMS, MALTA with a rough 50% rejection rate) and you have roughly 85% of what we screeners have to go through.

Hi
About MAN the thing is now you dont get much that is rare anymore.I go down about 9 times a month and everytime I have been there this month there has been no rare aircraft. The last day with more than 5 rare aircraft was the Champions League final day.Just look at whats due in the next couple of weeks nothing rare http://www.ringwayreports.co.uk/whatsdue.htm.
At the moment there are more rare aircraft at Liverpool.
Thanks

I dunno Michael. MAN looks to of had quite some rare movements this month. I mean we've had the Greenland 752, Air Baltic RJ-70, Karthago A320, 763 Condor (fuel stop), Israeli 707 etc. They're all non-regulars

BTW, I think that was what you were looking for - http://www.ringwayreports.co.uk/whatsdue.htm
