Which do you all think will give the best results for aircraft photography? My budget is $500, I'd like 10x or 12x optical and 4 megapixels.
I am looking at both the Dimage z3 or a Lumix fz15.
thanks for any advice!

save your $$$$$$ and get a digital rebel!!!!!!!!!!!! dont waste your time on those camera
or save even longer and get a 10D or a D70
Or if you do that you would get a much better camera. But i you need one now the Olympuses are the best P&S cameras.
I read a review in Mac World that says the C-765 (which is cheaper than the C-770) produces better quality images even though the sensor and optics of both cameras are the same. Another camera to consider is the older C-750 for about $300.
If you don't mind spending a bit more, go for a D-SLR! Used D30 go for about $600 now on ebay.
