damn, be glad that your plane was where it was and not downwind from the mountain. That's a perfect example of a lenticular cloud caused by mountain wave turbulence.
i've experienced my share of turbulence near mt rainier.
the worst was a frontier 733 sea-den. we had just passed the southside of rainier, climbing through about 18K feet, and wham-o! a quick lift and drop and some strong side to side action in the back of the plane. no change of shorts necessary, but close enough
Was experimenting with this one, using centre point focus, which unfortunately blurred the nose and tail beyond recovery. I quite like the way that it draws your attention to the centre of the aircraft.
You panned in sync with the movement of the center of the aircraft, unfortunatley because the aircraft is not 100% side on to you, the back is moving closer to the panning point, while the front end is moving away. Thats why they are blurred.
Hope you get the idea, hard to explain on the internet.

Ok, fair do's, i'll believe ya
In that case is it worth a punt at uploading it, or is the nose too blurred for acceptability?

It could work Unfortunatley, theres not much blurring since your background scenery is rather bland
I have a few lights in mine, those are always good.
Dang! These are some really great pictures. Did you take them yourselves or did you find them on the net? I don't have a digital camera, so I'll have to find some pictures of my own.
