      very nice shots!

Gerardo, I would count the Thai 744 you took from the heliport (April 17th)
      to your best shots too...

        Thanks, Philip!

I remember that day. Rumour was, that Ndizani would bring a spare engine for another SAA B743 at ZRH and return the broken one on that evening. The morning arrival was too early for me, so I went to that spot to catch the "5-engined Ndizani". Unfortunately, the aircraft only brought the engine, the broken one was fixed at ZRH

Anyway, Ndizani left in a beautiful evening sunlight.

        Regards
        Gerardo

Philip, I like your first shot, and some others you took on the same location. That's something you definitely don't get at ZRH

As for the other question: "btw how to make the photos show up (and link) !??? "

Ever thought about a HTML course?

It's apparently not as easy as in A.net, but with the [url] and [img] BBCodes, it works. Or am I doing this a bit too complicated?

            Regards

to make pics show up...go to the picture you want, right click, select "properties", copy the URL Address. Then in your post, type (img)URL(/img) with [square brackets]...I used normal brackets so it wouldn't show up as a picture.

to make a link, type (a href="URL Address")Click here(/a) with <these brackets>, I used normal brackets so it wouldn't show up as a link. You can subsitute "Click here" with any phrase or word or even your picture...just put the picture HTML code in between the > and <.

If it all works out, it should turn out like this:

              just a pic:

              a pic with a link:

a pic that is a link:

I hope that cleared things up a bit, don't hesitate to ask any more questions

I like the first and the second one a lot. The fourth one is a nice picture, but the B747SP just looks ugly in any picture.

Thanks Gerardo. Unforunately, the weather on the day I went to Avalon this year was no where near as photo friendly....

This is a cool thread. I get to see great pics without browsing through lots of "good-but-not-as-good" pictures.

                              twr75, all three are great!
