The 18-55 is good... but I sometimes find it not quite long enough at the long end when i don't wanna attach the 70-200. Also after having a 70-200 f/4L on the camera, the lens feels like a piece of crap. However when stopped down to f/8 or lower it can produce some niiice results for the price! Soon i'll proally look at the canon 24-70 (bit expensive though) or sigma 24-70 f/2.8 because those would fill the gap between the 18-55 and the 70-200 and are faster.
