Small self plug

Ok I really do wanna self plug my semi-new 100-300L F5.6 lens. It maybe old, well to be truthful it this lens maybe as old as some of the members here.

Nice shots and all, but to be honest, aint nothin you couldnt get with a dinky 75-300 III USM

Although it must help for large prints...

I did have the 75-300 EFIII before the older L lens. I was happy with it but found it lacked contrast and color, well at least my copy did mybe others have had better luck than I had. The one thing I miss with the the 75-300 is the 75mm part. The 100 with a 1.6x crop is tough with airplanes. Overall it was a good 1st lens, but it was time to upgrade and that I did.

Some great shots their, providing you have a good eye for a shot, you can get good results regardless of equipment.
