  • Spotting at MROC / Costa Rica

Spotting at MROC (Juan Santamaría Intl. Airport, Alajuela, Costa Rica)

It is just amazing the things you have to do to get good shots… To give you an example, take a look at this photos I took while spotting with IBERIA A340 pilot Ander Aguirre and Diego Romero, another JP.net photographer.

There are very good spots for photography around the MROC airport, but the problem is that it has double fence in the perimeter of the airport, so the only way to avoid the fences in your photos is to do some of the following things:

Option A: Get on top of a truck

Diego Romero (left) and Ander Aguirre (right)
    ----------------------------------

    Option B: Climb a tree

    -----------------------------------

Option C: If you want to avoid both of the options described above, there is a nice restaurant with a great view in the south side of the airport.

If you are planning visiting Costa Rica for plane spotting fell free to contact me, I’ll be more than pleased to show you the best spotting places around…
