without a doubt it is going to be very busy and the AVP will be
packed, I cant help feeling that some photographers coming to the
AVP are going to be disappointed. If they are on 24R and its sunny
the AVP will not be any real use until about 3pm onwards, when most
movements have arrived. I am sure that most purists will venture
towards the threshold of 24R for the best shots. My suggestion to
those wishing to do this, is to park in Styal village (sensibly) and
walk the short distance into Moss lane. Another alternative is to go
further out on the approach to Sainsburys car park or Bruntwood
park, A 200-300 lens will give acceptable side on shots with the sun
behind you. The park is an excellent location if you have kids in
tow for the day, or you can send the wife shopping in John Lewis !!
(second thoughts, better not )
Have fun on the day
Cheers
