  • The following rule could be amended...

"You have exceeded the maximum number of photos of the same registation in the queue.
You are only allowed 2 at one time in the queue."

I went to Ponta Delgada / Azores - Joao Paulo II (Nordela) (PDL / LPPD) yesterday and tried to upload 3 photos:

1 cockpit approach shot to PDL, 1 wing view shot of the departure and 1 arrival shot from the cockpit at Helsinki.

Could the rule be changed to apply to 2 photos of the same reg. in the same category?

Perhaps if they are a different category they are feasible. The main reason why this was put in was that we had some folks uploading 20-30 images of the same aircraft...

Also, image 1 and 3 might be labelled as "similar"...

        Thanks guys,

Philip, I uploaded numbers 2 and 3, and left the first 1 out, even before your comment

Tsentsan I could have uploaded one sideshot at the Azores, one cockpit view and one wing view, and the three would still have been too many.

If it gets raised to 3 all that will happen is that we will end up with the same discission in a few weeks @why can't it be raised to 4?.....etc'.

Do you need to have three in the queue at once? Surely it wont make a huge difference if one of them gets held back by a day or two?

Look both like cockpit shots to me

I can wait, no problem. The queue is pretty short here and moves along pretty quickly.

(I still think 10 photos of Finnair Airbuses taken from the same spot are more similar than 2 of my cockpit shots taken 4000 miles apart and 1 wing view shot.)

Peter, we do value your shots here, thank you for recognising the necessity of this system.
